To All The Boys I've Loved Before Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.
My Thoughts: I started reading this book earlier to day, and I finished it so fast. I've been wanting to read this book for a couple years now but I always forgot about it when I went book shopping. But since the movie recently came out and I'm obsessed with it I had to read it. I freaking loved this! And yes I know I committed the ultimate book sin by watching the movie first but honestly it made me like the book even more especially with people already in my mind for certain characters. Only one I didn't really like in the movie was josh. I honestly believe they could have casted someone better for him or just maybe wrote him better. He came off as a whiny brat in the movie and in the book he seem just a tiny bit more mature.
But yeah I loved this story, I have a love hate kind of relationship with Peter, hes a total ass sometimes but then there are parts where he's a total sweetheart and I forget all about him being an ass. I hated Margot too, she seemed pretty heartless in the story. Like I know shes the big sister or whatever but like I feel like she changed completely from when she went to college to when she came back. I know she was bitter about some things that happened in the story but she was coming off as more conceited and snobby. I hated it so much because for a lot of the book Lara-Jean talked about how much she looked up to Margot and how caring, and loving she is to her sisters but I got none of that. I really hope she turns out better in the second book because I don't think I can take anymore of her. Oh! Another thing I forget to mention! I'm really not buying that Peter liked LJ. I mean yeah he sent her those notes whatever, but there were parts even later in the book where he was trying to make Gen jealous and why would that still matter to him if he actually like LJ! I swear this review is all over the place and I'm sorry, but this book is still fresh in my mind and I have a lot of feelings about it.
Last thing I want to talk about is Josh. Again. So in the movie it's kind of I don't know, implied, that Josh likes LJ too but he never really acts on it. Mainly because LJ doesn't give him the chance, so hes just a whiny bitch for the whole movie, but the BOOK!!!! My goodness!!!!

Tiny Spoiler Beware!

It's like he's so desperate to tell her how he feels and I get that. The letter was just sprung on him right after her sister broke up with him, its overwhelming. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU GO AND KISS YOUR EXES SISTER! KNOWING SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND AND DESPITE HER TELLING YOU SHE DOESN'T FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT YOU ANYMORE GEEZ!!!!

So in conclusion I kinda hate John ATM. I know him and LJ are friends again but that doesn't change the fact that he likes her and hes an idiot.

That's it. My rant review of this book. Let me know what you guys think about this book if you've read it, or the movie.

Oh and one more thing.
You're Welcome
