While I've Been Gone Part 1
Hello! I know it's been a while since I last posted! I'm going to try to get back to posting regularly like I was doing, but you know life gets in the way sometimes. What an you do? Thankfully I still have been reading somewhat. Mostly comic books but who cares reading is reading. I haven't even updated my good reads since I finished Tower of Dawn a couple months ago. 😞But anyway, since I plan on posting more often I thought it would be a good time to at least write briefly about the books I did read since I've been gone. I think I'm going to make this a two part post because if I don't this will be forever long.
This is Black Panther of course I was going to like it!! But seriously this was a pretty interesting story about Wakanda pretty much not accepting T'Challa as their king after something with Killmonger happened (doesn't happen in the story though). So basically I was a little bit confused because even though this is a first volume whatever happened before that is mentioned in this story a lot and i still don't exactly know what that is, but other than that this is a pretty good BP story and when I can afford to I am definitely going to continue with this story.
4.) Moon Girl and the Devil Dinosaur by Amy Reeder ⭐⭐
I REALLY wanted to like this more than I did, I mean it seems like such a cute story! In reality it was a complete snooze fest (to me at least). It also took me about 4 days to finish this story and its super short 😞
5.) The Amazing World of Gumball Vol. 1 by Frank Gibson ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
1.) Sec Criminals Vol. 2 by Matt Fraction ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This one was from back in February right after I decided to take yet another break from this blog and I absolutely loved it. I don't really remember much of what happened but I do remember laughing my butt off. I mean the whole premise of the story is just hilarious and silly. If you haven't read the first volume yet you totally should its great.
2.) The Infinity Gauntlet by Jim Starlin ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Another one I read in February because I was totally pumped for Infinity War! Ummm I was wrong for that but anyway, this story was really good and honestly I didn't read anything that lead up to the event and I understood it pretty well. As you might have guessed from just the cover its about Thanos collecting all the Infinity Gems, and the snap that wiped out half of the universe. Seriously though guys read it its awesome and pretty different from the movie so its not a waste of time. Another one I want to add is Infinity War I read it right after this one and its also pretty good but really not as good as this one.
3.) Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet by Ta-Nehisi Coates ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Another one I don't really remember but I do remember like it a lot because I read it right after Moon Girl.
