While I've Been Gone Part 3

I have returned!! So this is the third and final part of what I've read during my very long break from this blog. Lets just get right into it.

1.)  Chew Vol. 1 by John Layman ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything about this comic was just plain weird! The art, the story, EVERYTHING!!! But I actually liked it. Even though I found everything pretty weird it fit together very well and it made the story pretty interesting. I can't wait to buy the second one and see where the story goes for Tony Chu.

2.) East of West Vol. 3 by Jonathan Hickman ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just like the other two in the series I have no idea really what was going on but of course I really liked it. I just like the idea of a sci-fi western with fantastical elements its awesome! What can I say? The art and the story are good. 

3.) A Game of Thrones Vol. 1 by Daniel Abraham ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you've ever seen the first episode of Game of Thrones, this is exactly what it is. I of course liked it because GoT is the greatest show ever! The art in this was a little weird to me but it also worked really well. Yeah read it or just buy it because its GoT. 

4.) Low Vol. 1 by Rick Remender ⭐⭐

Gosh! Remember when i said Image Comics hadn't disappointed me? I forgot that I wasted my time reading this. It was absolutely dreadful to sit through. The only reason it doesn't have one star is because I thought the art was really pretty. I don't even want to talk about this one anymore. I hated it. 

5.) Black Panther Vol. 2 by Ta-Nehisi Coates ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So it turns out that I did actually read the second volume and I just don't remember it. I'll have to go back and read it again because I feel bad completely forgetting a story that I thought was so great when I finished it. 

6.) Saga Vol. 8 by Brian K. Vaughan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Do I really need to say anything about this? Saga is the first comic series I have ever read and it is my favorite! Also I'm pretty sure Fiona Staples is my favorite illustrator. Like always the story and the art were fantastic and I am also currently reading the ninth volume and I can't wait to finish it and upload a review for it!
