The Disney Book Tag With my Cousin!

This is my 200th post guys!!!! Dont want to waste it. So here is the Disney Book Tag I am doing with my little cousin.

1. The Little Mermaid
A character who is out of their element; a “fish out of water”
JG: Idk
Me: Definitely Feyre from The ACOTAR series. I feel like everyone has read the series so I don't think I have to explain.

2. Cinderella
A character who goes through a major transformation
JG: Firestar from the Warriors Series.
Me: Celaena Sardothien.
SPOILERSSS!!!!

She was literally a slave and now she is a Queen! Duh!

3. Snow White
A book with an eclectic cast of characters
JG: Warriors by Erin Hunter
Me: I'd say the Guardians of the Galaxy Comic book. I mean there are literally different species.

4. Sleeping Beauty
A book that put you to sleep
JG: Seekers by Erin Hunter
Me: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare! That book was just so bland I didn't like it at all.

5. The Lion King
A character who had something traumatic happen to them in their childhood
JG: Batman for obvious reasons
Me: Peter Parker When his parents died in the plane crash or ya know..... the Green Goblin. Or uncle Ben dying. Im referring to Spider-man: Power and Responsibility.

6. The Beauty and The Beast
A book that you were intimidated by but found the story to be beautiful
JG: Seekers by Erin Hunter
Me: All the Throne of Glass and ACOTAR books. They're HUGE! Harry Potter too.

7. Aladdin
A character who gets their wish granted….for better or for worse
JG: Ariel from the Little Mermaid
Me: Jenna Rink from 13 going on 30. If you have seen that movie you know what I mean.

8. Mulan
A character who pretends to be someone or something they are not
JG: Nightwing AKA Dick Grayson for obvious reasons
Me: Pietro.... That probably doesn't make sense but clearly he isn't Quicksilver because he wasn't quick enough to dodge those bullets. Too soon? Definitely!

9. Toy Story
A story with characters you wish would come to life
JG:  The Guardians of the Galaxy
Me: The ACOTAR Series because I love the Inner Circle. How can you not?

10. Disney Descendents
Your favorite villain or morally ambiguous character
JG: The Joker
Me: James Moriarty!!! I love him so so so so so so so so so much!

Rat Queens Volume 1 Mini-Review

Title: Rat Queens Volume 1: Sass and Sorcery
Author: Kurtis J. Wiebe
Illustrator: Roc Upchurch
Rating: 3/5
Synopsis: Who are the Rat Queens? They're a pack of booze-guzzling, death-dealing battle maidens-for-hire and they're in the business of killing all the god's creatures for profit. Meet Hannah the Rockabilly Elven Mage, Violet the Hipster Dwarven Fighter, Dee the Atheist Human Cleric and Betty the Hippy Smidgen Thief.
Picture:

My Thoughts: This was a little boring at first but I really ended up liking it. I like the friendships between the girls and I really liked all the girl power. I was a little confused as to what was going on most of the time but I think I kinda ignored that because I really liked the art. Again this is going to be super short because I read these a little while ago and I still don't have much to say about them. I'm really waiting for a comic book to really take me over the top with love, but I haven't found anything like that since Saga so.... whatever. I'm done bye!

Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Mini-Review

Title: Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe
Author: Cullen Bunn
Illustrator: Dalibor Talajic
Rating: 2.5/5
Synopsis: What if everything you thought was funny about Deadpool was actually just disturbing? What if he decided to kill everyone and everything that makes up the Marvel Universe? What if he actually pulled it off? Would that be FUN for you? The Merc with a Mouth takes a turn for the twisted in a horror comic like no other!
Picture:

My Thoughts: Sooo disappointing!!! If you think this was going to be some humorous complex Deadpool story, you're wrong. The title is literally what the book is about. Nothing really special and it was actually very boring to read. I don't have anything else to say about this. So I'm going to end this right here!!! Okay bye!

Saga Volume 7 Review

I'm back! Sorta... I'm slowly trying to get back into reading again. I know...
This more than likely will contain spoilers so read at your own risk.

Title: Saga Volume 7
Author: Brian K. Vaughan
Illustrator: Fiona Staples
Rating: 3.5/5
Synopsis:  “The War for Phang” is an epic, self-contained Saga event! Finally reunited with her ever-expanding family, Hazel travels to a war-torn comet that Wreath and Landfall have been battling over for ages. New friendships are forged and others are lost forever in this action-packed volume about families, combat and the refugee experience.
My Thoughts: Okay lets take a moment to appreciate how cute Hazel has gotten!!!

Anyway... This volume was pretty boring compared to the other ones. There was a lot less action and that is probably due to the fact that Alana was HUGE! it could also be that there just wasn't anything to write about because I mean they were stranded on a comet for pretty much the entire book.

But aside from that, what I really want to talk about is Prince Robot IV and his nasty self!!! Like the second page of the book I was greeted with a dong... Which was his i might add... Not a very good surprise especially when you are out on public. And also the fact that he has these weird not feelings for Alana. Like what is that ?????

Let me get back on topic now geez! As always I love love love Fiona Staples' art. I mean its just so nice I don't know I just like it a lot. It's the same old thing i say every time you already know. I didn't like it as much as the others but i still enjoyed it. So yeah... That's all for now, Okay... bye!

East of West Mini-Review

I have three reviews to post so I'll try to get them all up today. If not today then tomorrow.

Title:  East of West Volume 1
Author: Jonathan Hickman
Illustrator: Nick Dragotta
Rating: 5/5
Synopsis: This is the world. It is not the one we wanted, but it is the one we deserved. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse roam the Earth, signaling the End Times for humanity, and our best hope for life, lies in Death.
Picture:

My Thoughts: I didn't know what to expect when I picked this up but I was not disappointed. I went into this without knowing a thing. I thought it was just going to be some western story but it definitely wasn't! I really liked the  story, it was very different from anything I have ever read and I really want to read some more off these. Another plus to this is I have heard some really great things about the books so I am super excited to continue. I didn't like the art too much but I did like the coloring. For some reason it helped keep the story interesting (to me at least). Some parts were pretty confusing and I couldn't tell if something was in the past or the present but I'm sure if I keep reading them I'll understand eventually. Other than that I don't have anything else to say without giving anything away. So this is where I'm going to end this.
