My Thoughts: Lets just keep this super short because if I go on about this it wont be nice. I HATED this! I feel like Cap was so out of character...he probably wasn't though, I hated the art, and the story made NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER!!!! I haven't read much CA but I think its safe to say that this is a bad CA story. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 2 Mini-Review

I read Volume 1 a couple years ago and you all know I don't like re-reading books so there wont be a review for that one but I did give it a 5/5.

Title: Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 2
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Illustrator: Young Kim
Rating: 5/5
Synopsis: Having uncovered the dark secret of her enigmatic classmate, Edward Cullen, Bella Swan embraces her feelings for him, trusting Edward to keep her safe despite the risks. When a rival clan of vampires makes its way into Forks, though, the danger to Bella has never been more real. Will she make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the people dearest to her?
Picture:  I took that picture.. How could I not the art is so pretty!!!

My Thoughts: I AM TWILIGHT TRASH!!!! I saw this on thriftbooks and I had to have it. On top of that all of the movies were gifted to me for my birthday so I was watching them while reading this. Ugh I LOVE IT! The art was so beautiful and obviously the story was so perfect! I especially loved the part in the picture. Right after the baseball scene (I love that part!) when Victoria Laurent and James show up... Perfect! I'm pretty sure everyone has seen Twilight so this is just everything after Bella found out Edward was a vampire. I love Twilight so that's all I really need to say to make people understand how much i enjoyed this. I can wait to get my hands on New Moon Vol. 1 and 2. So that's all for now. Okay... Bye!

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life Mini-Review

Title: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life (Scott Pilgrim Volume 1)
Author: Bryan Lee O'Malley
Illustrator: Bryan Lee O'Malley
Rating: 3/5
Synopsis: Scott Pilgrim's life is totally sweet. He's 23 years old, he's in a rock band, he's "between jobs" and he's dating a cute high school girl. Nothing could possibly go wrong, unless a seriously mind-blowing, dangerously fashionable, rollerblading delivery girl named Ramona Flowers starts cruising through his dreams and sailing by him at parties. Will Scott's awesome life get turned upside-down? Will he have to face Ramona's seven evil ex-boyfriends in battle? The short answer is yes. The long answer is Scott Pilgrim, Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life
Picture:

My Thoughts: The movie is so similar to this I basically didn't have to read it. Though I did enjoy it so no complaints here. I do wish that I bought more Volumes of it because I didn't think there was going to be so little in the first one. All of the action happened at the end it was a little boring in the beginning but since I knew what was going to happen I kept reading. I didn't like the art all that much even though I think it compliments the vibe of the story. It was just a little too cartoony for me but I'm sure I'll get used to it once I continue.
I don't have too much to say about this other than I liked it and I didn't like Scott be cause hes a lazy, cheating butt hole. Ha ha. Yeah that's all for now. Okay... Bye!

Ultimate Spider-Man Volume 1 Mini-Review

I'll have another review up probably tomorrow because I'm tired right now. Okay...

Title: Ultimate Spider-Man: Power and Responsibility
Author: Brian Michael Bendis
Illustrator: Mark Bagley
Rating:4/5
Synopsis: An outsider even amongst his own peers, high school student Peter Parker is a young man at the crossroads of destiny. Orphaned as a youth and raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, Peter finds himself the target of a constant barrage of pranks perpetrated by school jock Flash Thompson and his burly bud, nicknamed Kong. After Peter is bitten by an experimental spider from the laboratory of Osborn Industries, industrialist Norman Osborn takes a deadly interest in this development. Will Peter be able to avoid a violent case of corporate downsizing? When backed into a corner, will our hero learn that with great power there must come great responsibility?
Picture:

My Thoughts: I really liked this! I was never a huge fan of Spider-man but I did like Tobey Maguire's Spider-man movies (Well the first and second one) which were based off of this run of Spider-man. I'm just guessing but I'm pretty sure I'm right because they were basically the same. Anyway so this is the first Spider-man comic I've ever read and I really liked it. It was super colorful and I do like the art (Which I say about all of them... Haven't found one I don't like). One thing I really did like is the fact that the Green Goblin is an actual monster and not some other personality in Mr. Osborne's head.

So cool... I can't wait to keep reading it. If this comic book wasn't $4 on Thriftbooks I would have never picked it up because like I said in the beginning, I'm not a huge fan of Spider-man... But there's still a chance for that to change. As long as these don't have anything to do with the movies (Spiderman 3... I mean that was bad).

That's really it. I liked it a lot and I do want to continue reading it as soon as I can find and order the next two volumes. I have high hopes for this and I don't think I will be disappointed with this story. Yeah.... So that's all for now. Okay... Bye!!!

The Walking Dead Volume 8 Mini-Review

Spoilers... I just noticed how different the art is from the beginning!!! LATE!!!

Title: The Walking Dead: Made To Suffer (Volume 8)
Author: Robert Kirkman
Illustrator: Charlie Adlard and Cliff Rathburn
Rating:5/5
Synopsis: They thought they were safe in the prison. They were wrong. A force far more deadly than the walking dead is at their door and when the dust settles, their rank will be reduced by more than half. No one is safe!
Picture:

My Thoughts: What the HELL?! That was my reaction to this entire volume... because what the hell! Like so much stuff happened and there just wasn't enough time to process it! The first time the Governor decided to attack I was so glad to see that Rick's group was able to fight back! I mean we all know they are definitely not weak. I was so glad but then the governor went back and told lies... JEEEEEZZZ and then Michonne and Tyreese. It was so stressful and I definitely did not need that at two in the morning.
Anyway!! All of the characters just really stressed me out. I mean the governor had just attacked and most of the group just left! Like WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT?! On the bright side though (There isn't really a bright side.) Andrea ended up coming back and trying to help even though it didn't last long. My question is did she come back alone or was everyone with her and also what happened? Because some stuff went down and it seemed like no one survived but I really hope they did... I also really hope that Judith isn't dead and someone from Rick's group finds her after everything is over. I really really hope so. POOR BABY! I just couldn't deal with the deaths (except for Lori's I don't like her) Especially Tyreese and Hershel's. Like dang I was so angry because I was so hoping that they would make it and there would be more for them. Well not Hershel (because we all know he doesn't leave that prison. Not even in the show) but for Tyreese... I thought there would be more for him. Not just the guy that screwed Carol and screwed her over and the wannabe leader. Too bad... He died to protect the group and in the end we don't even know if anyone besides Rick and Carl made it out alive.
In the end I'm just mad how many people died I want to know if anyone made it out and that's all I'm really  concerned about. On the brightside the Governor was killed so we have that to be happy about but still.... Robert Kirkman really wanted readers to suffer.
So...That's all for now. Okay... Bye!

The Walking Dead Volume 7 Mini-Review

Spoilers

Title: The Walking Dead: The Calm Before
Author: Robert Kirkman
Illustrator: Charlie Adlard and Cliff Rathburn
Rating: 3.5/5
Synopsis: Lori's pregnancy has come to term, and the birth is near. After everything they've been through, nothing can prepare Rick and the other survivors for what they are about to experience. A major turning point in the series is reached.
Picture:

My Thoughts: Really good volume. Things are really starting to pick up and get going which makes me pretty happy. I kinda wish we got to know the Governor and the people of Woodbury a little more before the action started but I'm also glad that the story isn't super slow. So a lot happened but at the same time it wasn't too crazy and that's because this volume was the calm before the storm like the title says.
So Lori finally had Judith and I was soooooooo happy for them. I was kinda wondering if she was going to have the baby any time soon and she did! But at the beginning she kinda ruined my life because she brought up Shane to Rick and Rick was like girl I know already!!!! And Dale... lost his dang leg! I mean I'm glad that at least wasn't like the show because Hershel has already been through so much with losing almost all of his family! But anyway... Dale was like feeling sorry for himself of something and it was just so annoying!!! Then everything is going pretty well and Freaking CAROL! I can't even with her. I mean I didn't really like her character there was so much wrong with her and she was really weird but the way she died is just so stupid!!! AND SHE LEFT HER DAUGHTER!!!!!! I know that she had issues but I think it was a little selfish of her to ask her friend to take care of her daughter if something happened to her then go and kill herself. So Selfish! Poor Sofia but I think she will learn from her mothers weakness. At least I hope she does because Carol was just.... *sigh*... Anyway that's all for now I will probably have the review up for volume 8 either tonight or tomorrow since I already read it.
